I'd like to present a wonderful exhibition I visited recently. I enjoyed myself so much that I forgot I had just played like a child! I recommend that all Athenians go a.s.a.p.!

Can you imagine what life will be like in the year 2050?
What will you eat?
How will you travel?
What kind of house will you live in?
With a changing climate and dwindling resources to deal with, we’ll need to get more creative about how we live, work and play to ensure that we and our planet survive.

The Science of Survival: Your Planet Needs You! is a new hands-on exhibition that takes you on a journey of possibilities for our future. Accompanied by four virtual guides, Dug, Tek, Eco and Buz, you’ll confront challenges like finding water in unusual places, designing a super-food, and creating the kind of neighbourhood you would want to live in.

You’ll discover new ideas and technologies that could make a big difference right now and in the future – like a net that collects drinkable water from fog and jeans made from sugarcane!

Explore, be inspired, make decisions – then see how your choices combine with others as your neighbourhood comes alive in Future City. The countdown to 2050 begins now!

The exhibition is currently hosted at the Hellenic Cosmos, in Athens, Greece.

Here is the trailer advertising the exhibition (again in Greek!).
